This rare lithograph print features the 99 beautiful names of God (al-Asma' al-Husna) elegantly inscribed by the esteemed Turkish calligrapher Ayten Tiryaki.
The main section has been gracefully composed in nesih script, gracefully framed at both the top and the bottom with the Basmala and Kalimat al-Tawhid in monumental sülüs. The entire piece is framed by strikingly illuminated floral patterns, which also feature in the main text sections.

Ayten Tiryaki
Ayten Tiryaki (born 1961) is the first women since Ottoman times to hold an ijazah (a licence for the transmission of written and practical branches of learning) in both calligraphy and illumination. From her workshop on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, Ayten Hoca produces works of calligraphy and illumination and also teaches scores of apprentices, each of them eager to partake in the rich tradition of Islamic calligraphy.
